Convoy of Hope ~ Follow Up Thoughts

Thanks to all of you who participated from Valley Grace with the Convoy of Hope. We had a good representation for Christ along with other churches from Hagerstown Area. I think it would encourage you to leave a story or two in the comments section to this post of someone who made an impression with you and how we can continue to pray for these individuals. Please make sure confidentiality is maintained so that individuals are not able to be identified. May God continue to bring people to our Savior! (Note: this is not a very good picture, better ones will be coming!)

Rick and I were in the Prayer tent. Two individuals impacted me. John, who is homeless gave some great insight into the needs of homeless people and the needs in our area. John already professed Christ. John has physical needs which prevents his working, and is an ex-marine. He requested that we pray for his daughter and grand-children and the needs of the homeless. I'm sure John did more for me than I did for him!

Kelly is a single Mom with a 17-year old son who has dropped out of school with anger issues. She is angry with God because her 6 year old daughter died some years ago after a 4 year bout with cancer. We shared the plan of salvation with Kelly and prayed with her. She has a lot of difficult things going on in her life.
