Behind the Scenes Look at the World Series

As many of you know, there was significant rain at the World Series held in Philadelphia on Monday night. In order to help get the field playable again, a rake manufactured by Midwest Rake Company LLC is shown being used. Midwest Rake is an organization run by Christians. The President of the company is Bill Henthorn. We went to college and played soccer together (so you have to know he is a young man!).

In the about us section on the company website they write, "We try to honor God in all we do. Although it’s often a struggle and we stumble and fall along the way, we thank God for the success of Midwest Rake Company and recognize the Bible as the best road map for living and doing business. No apologies. This does not make us better than anyone else, but it does mean that we try hard to work with others the way we would like them to work with us. We value relationships as well as sales."

If you want to read a bit more about this event, you can do so at BMH Editor's Blog (here). If you would like to read more about Midwest Rake Company LLC and their purpose, testimony and products go here. They have a strong purpose statement in a world of cheap products. We wish them God's best!
